hi,
i am in SA on work permit & unfortunaletly my driving licence from my country has expired.i need to apply for SA licence.
pls,can anyone tell me what is the process for driving licenec for foreginers,how long will it take & what formalities need to be attended to.

You'll need a valid international driver's license...check this web site, they will tell you everything you need to know...

thanks for the reply & link.
as my license is expired will I be able to get international one based on that?or are there some other formalities to get international one

International license you can only obtain from your country of origin I believe...not sure:(
