Hello South Africans of LA! I am a writer and producer who spent two years in Africa, Kenya, Congo and Somalia, and I am producing a TV pilot based on the experience of living with five eccentric expats in a house in Nairobi. One of the characters is a South African guy -- a gruff but good hearted king rooster and photojournalist. I am looking for white South Africans to audition for the part. You don't necessarily have to be an actor. The profile is someone 35-50 who can bring a lot of knowledge about SA to the table to help craft the character and his lines.
