I will be flying to Guayaquil in July and plan to check out the country. What districts, if any, in Guayaquil should I not stay in? I have heard cental Guayaquil is a good place to stay as everything is within walking distance. Looking for a private 1 bedroom apt, have found some 2br apartments for around $350 month. Is that about right? Thanks everybody for your help.

i recomend Kennedy aria or ordesa. both are close to food and shopping and are patroled by police fairly well. near sights and downtown. rent from 250 to 1000... figure nice place close in 1 bedroom 350 is reasonable. i live close to the airport and would be willing to check out places you find to see if the pic's match the reality.
