I met a Swiss woman a few years ago visiting here and am fascinated with Switzerland. I am retiring in June and want a fresh start. there.

That's a little too broad a question! Narrow it down: do you want to be in a city or in the country or somewhere inbetween? Do you have a preference for German, French or Italian speaking areas? Do you have unlimited resources or a tight budget? Are you going to try to find employment (assuming you can qualify?) If choices are limitless, Zurich is the city I'd choose, and I'd go right for the heart of the Old City. But then, I have family there, speak a pretty good Schweizerdeutsch and have Swiss citizenship by birth. And I dream in expensive taste.
