Hello All,
I am considering moving to Zürich Canton and I was wondering how life is there? Is it very expensive as everybody mentions? What is a good salary in ZH? I mean what is the minimum to live well (restaurant once in while, nice appartement). I know we don't have the same appreciation of what a good standard of living is but I'd be interested in having opinions/advices.

A short answer to your question:
Yes, Zurich is very expensive, in particulary the city of Zurich.
For salary levels, check out www.lohnrechner.ch to find out what you can expect. The salary is probably much higher than you're used to in your own country - expect the same with costs of living!
Downtown Zurich and Geneva are the most expensive places in the country for appartments. Consider to live out of town. Public transport is excellent so commuting to work is not that bad.
