i'll be in Madrid in September and am shopping around for hotel/hostels to stay at while i look for a more permanent place. Any suggestions?

well for anyone looking around for hostels try hostelworld.com
Although there are tons of hostels in madrid and you could probably choose one when you arrive I'd recommend booking a couple nights beforehand. I was super jet lagged and thankful we booked one. Hostal Miami has cheap private rooms. And now seeing it, it is not bad for the price.
