Good day, buenos dias to you all. Lived here now 8 years and apart from the noise like just about everything (most of the time). Las Terrenas is a pleasant town where you can find most things.
Anybody know just how many United Kingdom ex-pàts live here in the D.R.?

You may want to contact the British embassy in SD to find out how many Brits are here. I am sure it is alot.

I would not hold your breath on that either. My experience of British Embassies throughout the world are pretty dismal .
Often dont reply at all or fob you off with some useless crap you could easily have got from Internet yourself.
More interested in their cushy Gin & Tonic lifestyle than to actually get off their ass and help their citizens.Some are helpful, but many not!
