I used google custom search to find a suitable thread for the subject mentioned issue but i couldnt. I have my iqama expiring next month and i urgently need to leave the kingdom and might be back after almost 2 months. Is it possible for me to get my iqama renewed if i am outside the kingdom? (i.e by sending my passport and old iqama from abroad?) or it is must to be in the kingdom to get it renewed? please explain.

The Aqama has to be valid for at least 3 months before you can get an exit and re-entry visa. You will have to get your aqama renewed before you leave.

For iqama renewal, you *have* to be in the Kingdom. Also all family members under your iqama must also be in the country.
