Hi EB Folks!
I am visiting Dubai next month with my family for a week. Please advise good attractions/places to visit. Some basic tips like weather, where to rent economical cars? etc will be helpful. I hope we can drive car in UAE with Saudi Arabian Driving license...

You can rent a car and drive it on the KSA license. In fact the KSA DL valid for all GCC. For car rentals, check out various companies' rates online. My last comparative analysis was last year and I decided on 'Dollar Rent-a-Car'. The pickup and drop on DXB Airport. 2 tips that must help:
1- Make sure your credit card has enough credit.
2- Do get a GPS along with the car. The roads and bridges are way tricky as compared to KSA.
For POIs (Point of Interest), the best & most comprehensive way I can suggest you (if you own a smartphone) is mTrip. It's a great app that can help you plan each and everyday/thing.
