In addition to the cost, you need a residency visa (minimum 6 months) to legally rent a room.
If you don't have one, you are only allowed to stay in serviced appartments (from S$1800/month), hotels (from S$120/night) and hostels (S$50-70/night).
It is NOT a good idea to break the rules in Singapore. Bring more money or don't come!

$400. You just need a place to crash or what? When are you coming im not living near club street but very near town too.

Well sorry i just read all the other posts i tot it was sent just to you .. lol new to this. Well anything is possible. iF YOU meet someone like me who would take you in lol...background check and make sure you have the visa that alwas you to stay here and etc ... talk soon
