Hi,
Coming soon to Geneva, I've chosen a hotel in Annemasse for my first days after arrival. However, I knew it is located on the French side of the border. I wonder if foreigners might face any difficulties while crossing the border daily, or it is ok since one has a Schengen Visa?
I also wonder about the liveliness of the area where the hotel is located; any shops or restaurants open at night?

A Schengen visa should be ok to visit both France and Switzerland.
