I heard from our children that a girl of 16 years came back from the States with her parents after 3 years attending American schools.
Here in Madrid she began High School, el Bachillerato, in September 2023 in the College of San Bernardo, Puerta del Angel.
She was on if the best of her class with an average of 9 + !
Her behavour was perfect.
Now in October 2023 the school put her back to the secondary school, because the papers of her American schools would not match with the Spanish requirements.
When we turn it down, the origin of a girl or a boy is more important than her performing at school.
I think, any tribunal in Spain would not accept this crazyness.
But the Ministerio de Educacion did not correct this injustice now in October 2023 after the revision of her parents.
Here in Spain there exists the prejudice that Spanish schools are better than American schools.
I think, this not even propaganda, but a bad joke !
