I am currently engaged to a CV national and were in the early steps in planning for the wedding. I am aware that marriage is a path to citizenship, and I plan to acquire CV citizenship once we are married. I do have a minor criminal record in my home country (USA) for misdemeanors but i never served any time in jail, and they were all state level. Am i still eligible for citizenship after i am married?

As long as you haven't murdered anyone you should be fine.
