Cycle to Lake Magadi

From the heart of Maasailand (Kajiado), you cycle through spectacular landscapes of rolling hills and shrubby plains on each side of the beaten tracks. Take in the contrasting vista of grand blue hills and vast dry plains on your way past Maasai Manyattas along the Railway line. Closer to the destination, the smell of soda ash fills the air as the deep scarlet colored Lake Magadi comes into view. The lake is also famed for its pink flocks of flamingos and natural hot springs. After a barbecue dinner (prepared the Maasai style), spend the night camping at the shores of the lake under the open starry sky and ready yourself for the game drive and train ride the next morning.
