What about meeting the other Oslo Expat.com members in real life? Organizing an Expat.com meet up would be an excellent way to know them! 
An Expat.com meet up can be a diner gathering, having coffee, a bring and share in a nice place, a cultural or sports activity, etc. There are plenty of possibilities: just imagine a pleasant way to meet new people and old friends from Expat.com.
Feel free to organize Expat.com get-togethers in Oslo: you would meet the other members in a friendly atmosphere and have a good time together!
Of course, we could offer some help to organize your meet up and to inform the community.

Sounds like a good idea to me! I think it's going to be the easiest way of meeting people and getting to know the city and outskirts a lot more.
I'm up for doing something and I know there are few other people that would like to.
Maybe, with this good weather. We could arrange a gathering in one of the big parks and have a BBQ and beers etc.
Anyone else up for doing this?

Hi i would love to be in such an expat group. though i am moving to Oslo on august 1 i can understand that the it starts getting darker soon and good friends and events are absolute necessity to escape darkness and cold as far as i believe atleast. please let me know if there is such a group and i would love to gather there............see u all soooooooon.
