Les Châteaux de la Loire

Our 2016 and 2017 trips were a big success. We reorganise the same trip in 2018. The dates are likely Friday 20 July (early morning departure) to Sunday evening. The program remains virtually the same as the 2017 program below, accept that we have decided to take out the visit to the House of Magic and replace it with a guided tour through Blois with the same (excellent!!) guides that we had during the past 2 trips.

The Loire Valley is located about 200km South from Paris and is often called the Cradle of the French or the Garden of France due to its many orchards and vineyards. Nowadays it is primarily known for the high number of castles, some of which are just exquisite. During this trip we will see many of them and visit five exceptional ones: Blois, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Amboise, and Chambord.
