First solo UK exhibition by Czech artist Miroslava Večeřová presenting her newly commissioned video work, sculptures and drawings will open on 4th February at FLATLAND_project at Bexhill on Sea.
‘Our View is Mineral’ has been developed through Miroslava’s participation in Early Career Studio Programme at Beeching Road Studios which has enabled a programme of artist-led community workshops that inform the year long studio programme housed within a new studio building in Bexhill on Sea. The project has been created in partnership with Photography and Lens Based Media department at Bexhill College.
Opening event: Saturday 4 February 2023, 4 - 7 pm
Miroslava Večeřová (b.1985) from Prague, Czech Republic, lives and works in St Leonards on Sea. She studied Photography at the Camberwell College of Arts in London (BA) and at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (MA). Drawn from her experiences growing up in Central and Eastern Europe her multifaceted work often references vernacular approaches to the environments and other species like animals, plants, minerals and the unknowns.
