HOSANNA(Palm Sunday) is a week before the celebration of Fasika /Easter. We will be celebrating this one of the greatest Feast of Hosanna or as it is known in the West, Palm Sunday.
On this big day, we are planning to gather together on a day tour to celebrate Hosanna in different Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo churches in Addis Ababa with you!!!!
Each year the Christians of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church begin the Holy Week with Hosanna Sunday and It's common to see wearing a cube-shaped palm ring and cross-shaped palm stripe on the forehead on this day.
One of the great Feasts of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church's Liturgical Calendar is the Feast of Hosanna or Palm Sunday. The Christians of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church gather together to celebrate the entry of Jesus' to the City of Jerusalem riding a donkey.
