A 10 day holiday no matter the country can be planned online with no tour guide, save the pesos. Done it for over 40 years even 3 month holidays.

I would like to know how much travelling around the O/P intends to do on this trip. Ten days is not a lot but if the intention is to see different Islands/Cities then a tour guide may be very expensive if you factor in domestic flights/accommodation, food and the daily tour guide rate.

Although Lotus Eaters suggestion is tongue in cheek, it may be better to go on a dating site and get a guide for each different location visited to save costs. Anything other than the normal guides duties would be a bonus.

10 days is enough time for a vacation. The OP should do his homework and concentrate on a particular area.

10 days might be even enough time after bar fines for a "walking street" tour in Angeles City.

I agree that 10 days is not a great deal of time to spend in the Philippines but there are a couple of other options if the O/P is willing to compromise and depending on how much he is willing to spend. Doing it yourself is the best way as pointed out by Big Pearl but you may want to consider the following.

1. Book a fully escorted tour with a tour company. I had an email from one yesterday offering a 13 night tour to the Philippines. Flying from London to Manila and returning from Cebu with various other destinations and trips included, including Bohol and a visit to a Mango Plant. The main advantages of doing this is that it is planned to maximize your time there and you do have a tour guide throughout your holiday. Although I have seen many such holidays, I do not remember seeing an escorted tour of the Philippines before. Lots in Vietnam/Thailand/Cambodia/Japan/China, etc but not Philippines.
2. There is a French based company called Marco Vasco who also do escorted tours but they have an option where you can build your own tour and add on extras. I used them once for a trip to Japan, only 9 or 10 days. I told them I wanted to visit Tokyo and Kyoto and they came up with other suggestions like spending a night near Mount Fuji in a traditional Japanese Ryokan, visiting Nara from Kyoto and full day escorted tours of both Tokyo and Kyoto. So I ended up flying into Tokyo and out of Osaka. I took the option of the night by Mount Fuji and the stay in the Ryokan and the day tours. The company were excellent and my trip included a 7 day Japanese Rail Pass including use of the Shinkansen and I received a detailed personalised itinerary of my trip with useful information on the places I would visit and more suggestions what to see and do and what food and drink to try.

If the O/P knew where he wanted to see in the Philippines he could use the company to do the same and he could have the best of both worlds with escorted city tours added on but still with free time to explore and relax.

No but there were onsens, one for women and one for the men, no clothes allowed so naked. Did not try this.
