Good Morning All,

Roger and I would like to know if you are able to bring Weapons into CR?

If so what are the reirements to bring them into CR?

Roger has always had his gun collection and would hate to part with it.

Hi Jeannine -
I do not have weapons myself, but have seen various threads on the subject. You must have a CR permit to own weapons, and another one to carry them. A recent law says that you must be a permanent resident (or citizen) in order to get the permits. I have heard of some who used a corporation to hold the permits, but that may be from those who already had a collection here, and so were able to switch when the new law took effect.
You would be best off consulting a lawyer, especially since this is a new law.
