Medical jobs in dubai - please help

Hi. I am a female doctor currently working in Sydney Australia.
I am interested in moving to Dubai and have been unsuccessful finding jobs through recruiters on the internet. I have worked in hospitals for 8 years and am 12 months away from completing my specialist training in nephrology (kidneys). It seems that I do not have the right level of experience for recruiters to place me.

Does anyone have any advice about finding a job for someone at my level?
How long can I expect the contract duration to be and what is an approximate salary?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, do you really want to work in dubai right now? The economy there is not good. Anyways, you may start looking at sharjah or abu dhabi.
When you come here you need to take a HAAD exam before you can practice. Most of the hospitals will hire doctors and give them time to prepare for the exams for about a month or two. Once you pass the exams, UAE is your oyster. Good luck. I am sure there are a lot more recruiters out there. Just 2 days ago i saw a lot of advertisements for medical jobs in the newspapers.

Hi, you can try Duabi American Hospital via their website or you can go to e-dohms/jobs if u cant go to e-dohms and go to general then go to jobs. Please try to apply via the internet first before you come here. They will reply anyway thru e-mail.

G'day.  You could try the various hospitals & clinics direct, I'm sure you'd have a better chance of success.

Start with Dubai Healthcare City, which is a new development specifically for health organisations. Their website, which has a list of all the hospitals, clinics etc is
www.dhcc.ae

I've no idea about salaries in that profession but in general salaries and length of contract are very individual depending on the organisation and the bargaining skills of the individual.

Because of high rents, try to get accommodation included in any package, or at the very least you must arrange an accommodation allowance.

I am Child Specilist , i want to work Dubai hospitals

Hi, I am a female CT / General Radiographer from Sydney, Australia.

I am interested in moving to Dubai in August this year.  However, I haven't had much luck trying to find a suitable position.  According to the alliedhealth agency, the hospitals in the UAE need 3 years of experience in a hospital environment.  Is this true?

I have had training within hospitals during university clinicals but have been working in a private practice for the last 3 years.  Do I still have a chance of finding a radiography job in Dubai?

Also, I was contemplating on going to Dubai in February to speak to employers face to face but not sure where to start.  Does anyone know of any healthcare agencies that would be of help or who to contact in Dubai when there?

Thank you
