Hi all,

I am new to this website and i find it more informative. We(family of 3)are planning to come in work permit to sodernborg. I like to know about the cost of living, education and how much salary is affordable to lead a normal life there? I have to decide soon whether to come along with my family or me alone to come there leaving my family here itself.

Hi MVK,

The good news is that Sonderborg is one of the cheaper places to live compared to Copenhagen and even Arhus and Aalborg. This is due alot to its proximity to Germany. Many Danes like to travel across the border and do much of their shopping, since they save on the taxes. (25%) plus the normal cost of food is cheaper in Germany.
