Hello everyone
I am posting on behalf of my brother.
He is 20 years old and is studying in KFUPM for engineering. (Saudi government university)
My father has received his final exit and we are all worried what my brother will do as he is a dependent on my father (my father is his kafeel).
I want to know if my brothers iqama can be transferred under the university he is studying in or what other solution there might be.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that, unfortunately I never heared that expat student can be sponsored by the university in Saudi Arabia.
However, two things to do and maybe are not what you like to hear.
1- let him go to student affairs in university and let them advise him and inform him about procedures.
2- meanwhile let your brother seek for a university where he can transfer to. You might check you origin country or any other.

sorry to know about your situation. If University agrees, they can call him on visa. I know Islamic university in Medina hosts internationals students on scholarship. Let him check with student affairs.
