Hi there
We are thinking about living in the Santa Rosa area and am trying to find an expat who might have built and furnished a main house and a rental property to US standards in a decent subdivision.
The local houses with their local kitchens and bathrooms are not very attractive to me, as are their little box like houses.
Any thought would be much appreciated.

All I can say if you come to live in Philippines do not expect miracles, they build house the best way they know how, at times they not the best but some are really good too, I build my house by Local builder, am I happy with it maybe 60% only, no house is perfect here or in USA.

Thanks for your reply. I was not commenting on the quality of the construction rather I am looking for something that is available in La Union, the Visayas etc. Expats who have built their homes and have rental property as well.
