New members of the Benin forum, introduce yourselves here - 2018

I am considering a move to Benin in order to finally have a partner to share my life with.  However, I'm kind of anxious about the idea as I've never lived outside the US.  I have no idea how to go about it and I hope this site will help me.

I have visited Cotonou a few times and have just set up a new company Ste. Service de Traitment d'Eau ODP. we sell a chlorine free water purifier, and specialise in industrial plants, single villas, blocks of flats down to personal 30ml bottles of concentrate. Oue website should be up and running by the end of the month.

I am looking for 3 bedroom house/apartment furnished  - perhaps furnished first short term whilst I sort out an unfurnished apartment or house longer terms (up to 2 years) with western standard bathrooms/kitchen and outside terrace. I have an approximate budget of cfa 800K/month. Obviously need a good area. Any advice or offers out there?
