What are the most desirable places for coders to work at in Singapore? Where do techies want to work? What companies have interesting work, treat their employees well, have reasonable working hours, good growth prospects, etc?
I am a software engineer and a people manager from Silicon Valley. My experience is mostly working for Facebook Inc and Google Inc.

There isn't much coding done in Singapore, due to the proximity to much cheaper coding centres in India.
Singapore's biggest tech companies do hardware and manufacturing (also mostly abroad).
But there is a lively tech startup scene, which gets much support from the government, see https://www.ft.com/content/c9892022-318 … f563ecf9a. To find them, check the local university's Entrepreneur Centres or other Business Incubators.
