Hey, guys I just moved to Michigan to start a company but after work, it gets really boring and lonely. I am looking to meet new friends and do interesting activities together.
Things I am interested in:
1. Cultural and Culinary exploration.
2. Good music
3. Philosophy and literature
4. Anything fun.

I'd suggest you venture down into the Detroit area, see Mexicantown and Greektown, lots of great places to eat authentic food and hear music. Catch a Tigers game at Comerica Park, or see a show across the street at the historic Fox theatre. Drive around Dearborn, which has the largest Muslim population of anywhere in the USA, and visit Greenfield Village 
In any case, you should never be bored there, there's lots to do year round.

That's all cool but I don't want to do any of this alone. Are there any "Michigan Exploration" clubs or something?
