Looking to teach in China

Hello everyone.

I'm a native English speaker from South Africa looking to teach in China. I've applied to various vacant positions, but to no success.

I'm in the process of obtaining my degree, with only one exam left. I have two years experience and a  certified TEFL/TESOL holder.

I'm well aware that I would need a degree in order to get the Z visa. However, I'm willing to accept a business visa.

I've received replies but nothing further than the let's have an informal chat.

My question goes as follows:

I am Muslim and I wear the head scarf (hijab), does this affect my application in any way as I am not willing to remove it while teaching. It does not affect my teaching abilities in any way.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Firdows

Try a Muslim country。 I am working in China and China is getting polluted。 I am already planning to go somewhere else。 Chinese laws are not very clear。

Hi Firdows,

I saw your message and support you completely that visa should not be given based on religion. You are educated and willing to contribute in china.

Contact some consultants for the job and I hope you will get it soon.

All the best.

Thank you.

Best Regards

Vikas
