I'm hoping you can help me out a bit here. I'm planning on traveling to China in the not too distant future to look for a place to retire. Currently, I live in the American Southwest and truly love the dry climate. I want a future in China, however from what I'm reading, most of the country is pretty darned humid.
So my question to you is, where is the driest climate in China and what do I need to research?

Dry weather is in the west...Tibet, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia. Of course it'll get really cold there in the winter. Personally, I've only been to parts of Xinjiang and I think it's a great place with really friendly people.
