Travelling to Greece

Good morning ppl,

I guess you are aware of Greece and the euro issue.. just wanted to know if this is the right time to travel to Greece. From an expense point. Do you think the expense would come drop down because of the debt crisis or would remain more or less the same.

Christine if you have the $$$ anytime is worth travelling as u see the tax just went up again ...to 25%, I dont know whether prices and costs will drop down, it also depends, are u planning to stay in a hotel or do u have relatives or somewhere to stay free of charge?whats ur budget? how long will u stay?

hi koukla.thanks. well I would need to stay in a hotel since I have norelatives there. probably stay in greece for 15 days.. wat do u reckon... howz the law and order situation there now..

Maybe try a Hostel if u will be on your own, not as convenient but u will save a bundle.

Expenses are not getting lower, government adds taxes, and shops and services increase their prices...go figure.

Whats ur budget for ur stay here?How long will u stay?
