Living Across The River (Chroy Changvra)

Hello all,

How are you? I was hoping for some good input and opinions about this. I am a single lady looking to relocate to Cambodia soon.

Being used to all the vast space and peaceful living in South Africa, I am planning to stay in a serviced apartment across the Japanese Bridge in Chroy Changvra. I have heard mixed reviews about staying across the river. Thus, if you could please help me, what do you guys think about that? Is it truly unwise for me to do so and why if you could possibly add in please?

Thank you so much!

Regards,
Lola xx

Hi Lola,

Welcome to expat-blog!

Regards,

David.

For a single woman, it's not really secured I think.
The roads after the Japanese bridge are dark at night.
you will also have to cross the bridge for groceries and hospitals.
Without a car, it's worst.
But it's cheaper.... for sure.
