Teaching job in Germany

My name is Jose Fernandez. My wife, Nieves Ramirez, and I are
looking for the opportunity to be placed in an school in Germany.

I have a BBA in international Business from the University Of Wisconsin-Whitewater, USA. My wife has a degree in English from the University of Granada, Spain. We are both currently working at
Waukegan School District in Waukegan, IL USA under a working  Visa. We have worked in that school district for seven and six years.

We are planning on relocating to expend our teaching experience for the school year 2013-2014.

We are currently working in our TELF certificate which it is 120 hours.

Can some one help us?

Thanks!!!

Hi Jose !

I would suggest you to post an advert in the Germany jobs section.
It might be helpful.

Armand

To become a teacher at regular (public) schools, teaching school-age children, you need a recognized educational degree (and German language skills). They may make concessions on this if there aren't enough teachers for a subject, e.g. a Maths or Physics degree might suffice to teach these.
There are also some international schools, where your chances might be better.
Sorry, I have no idea about the TEFL market in Germany, but it's certainly small, because everyone learns English at school.
Keep in mind that getting a work permit is quite difficult for non-EU citizens!
