Hiking with kids

Hi,
I'm seeking information about doing some hiking with 2 small children (aged 17 months and 4 yrs.).  We'd be carrying the children on our backs so I'd like advice about what's realiistic in terms of difficulty level (steepness etc.) and duration (how long it would take us).  We'd ideally like to at least do Piton de Volcan.  Is this advised and are there any other recommendations.

Hi there. I back wrap my son aged 9 months and go pretty much anywhere! Le volcan is a loooong walk so I reccommend taking a 3rd adult with 2 kids to help carry the water. I find it's around 25% more than the time given as they seem to be super speedy walkers. Anything in the randos faciles is fine for us.
