THEATER SHOW – VISCERAL -

Mahya Green presents: Visceral, is a stage play inspired by paintings from Green's solo exhibitions (O Gallery, French Concession, 2014) (La Bota Wine Bar, 2016). Both exhibitions featured paintings and charcoals with deep, emotional stories, such as; a subtle, but slightly dangerous seduction.
The show stars a marvelous cast: Apriel 'AP' Powell (Ava), Uche Sam(Mila), Tyren Scott Thomas(Hungry Guy), and Elle(Honey).
Visceral will speak to audiences on all levels. It tells the story of a couple who thinks they have it all figured out but end up allowing secrecy, bitterness, and vanity to come between them. This stage show gives viewers a dark look into what happens when two people allow themselves to lose who they are for the sake of holding onto something that has been long lost.
