Teaching rationale: Ideally I like to have an initial 5 to 10 min scoping conversation with any potential students to ascertain our viability of working together.

I would like to introduce myself as a qualified and experienced Tutor. I am a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL) certified professional who is highly adaptable to in order to ensure the success of each and every one of my students.

I have x2 Teach English as a Foreign Language(TEFL) certifications, one achieved in Cape Town in 2006, and the second completd more recently in 2015. From an early age I started writing both creatively and for academic purposes, winning several awards at school, and helping edit my high school newspaper.

Whilst in London I attended Central St. Martins College of Art and Design completing a writing course with them.

I attended Oxford University’s Language and Identity course which greatly helped me understand language’s role in defining our identity.

In 2016 I published my first novel, a coming of age romantic thriller ‘The Dangers of Dying’(Amazon Kindle).

My career has been heavily geared toward the ICT(Information & Communication Technologies) arena having worked as an IT trainer in corporate London and so I like to make intelligent use of aps and other tools which allow for stimulated and engaging learning.

I have a real passion for instructing, information delivery and understanding. With this approach in mind I enjoy working with my students to ensure we tailer and maximise results for them. I like to thoroughly analyse the relevant syllabus/curriculum to deliver focused and tangible differences to their grades.

I particularly enjoy working with Business Professionals, in the areas of conversational dialogue, and am adept at engaging beginners, children, and students to become better English Speakers. I really enjoy fine-tuning and where required removing foreign accents.

My latest literary project 'A Spade is a Spade' is a non-fiction, modern-day lifestyle survival book. With commentary on finance, relationships, social conscience, and touches on spirituality, and philosophical areas, imploring a more enlightened way of existence.

Whilst English and ICT are my core areas of strength, I am by no means limited to these areas because of my extensive work-place experience and so am able to assist students in multiple subjects including Mathematics, Science, Biology, Geography and History. I am confident that my passion and experience are the qualities you are looking for.

I am currently freelance tutoring. Please email me at to arrange a Skype conversion.
