Hey all.
I'll be applying to KFUPM in a few days for the Fall term. I live about 25 minutes from the campus which is unfortunately not far enough to be considered eligible for dorm stay, and I'm not fond of many of the dorm rules anyway.
I'm ecstatic about the possibility of getting into this university and the accommodation problem is the only downside. What non-dorm options do I have?
I am especially interested in whether something like a homestay is possible in the Dhahran camp, i.e., where an ARAMCO worker living in a house inside the camp would lend me a room and in return I'll pay some rent and help with chores.
Please tell me about any option that comes to mind. Thanks for your replies!
