Hi I am a Erasmus student and I am not a EU citizen. I will be in Italy for six monts. I have been here for two and a half months. I should have applied for permesso di soggiorno in the first eight days but I didn't. I want to apply now but I am afraid if I would be deported. What is the punishment for late applications? Please help.
