Medical visa

Any comments greatly appreciated.

My daughter has been offered a fantastic job opportunity in hmc and has signed the contract to move over in early August. She has started the medical check as requested by the employer but during these tests a problem with one of her kidneys has arisen, all other tests are complete but she now has to wait for consultation with a specialist and the doctor has refused to sign the medical form. We are now running out of time and she is considering taking the form to a private clinic.
We have explained to the dr the time constraints, and we remain concerned about her health although I must stress she currently works and is perfectly healthy, she still refuses to complete the form.
My question is if the dr puts the concern on the medical form will that stop my daughter from getting the necessary visa. She is fit to work, and eager to start but this belligerent doctor seems to be cutting that dream off.
Many thanks,
A concerned Dad.

Perhaps seek second opinion?

What is the kidney problem, maybe the doc doesn't want to sign it thinking it may come back to bite her on the arse.

The problem is that the kidney has less function than the other and we are aware of this, but she won't sign the form until it is investigated. My argument is that she could sign the form and we can begin the visa process whilst the medical investigation proceeds and if they think it will somehow prevent her working she won,t be going to take the job. She is not ill and has no symptoms and working full time here so she wouldn,t have this issue if she hadn't,t had the med. I was just wondering if the dr put it on the med form wouldn't this prevent her getting a working visas.

Its not a disease, its just poor kidney function. Will the kidney hinder her performance in the new job.

This day and age doctors worry about litigation, if I was the doctor I would be doing the same thing.
