Importation of food for professional use


I'm trying to find out how difficult it is to import certain kinds of foodstuff for professional use.
I know there are import restrictions but for the food I wish to import, it should not be a problem but I have been told by a airfreight company that an importation license and a sanitary approval is needed.
How difficult and expensive would that become. Are there ways to avoid the hassle of acquiring those papers for a small business owner?

Try checking to see how low the dr is on the list of economic freedom.   It's 88, lower than mexico.

It's not easy to get  but you can do it.  Make sure it's worth the hassle and cost first!
