Australian looking to relocate to Poland, July 2017

My name is Annette, 34 from Australia. I have Polish Citizenship, which I obtained this year and after a recent second holiday to Poland over the summer this year, I am now considering moving there for at least a year, from July 2017.
I am qualified social worker and I also have a certificate in TEFL.
Any recommendations, suggestions about work opportunities in Warsaw for an English speaker would be great!
I'd also really like to hear from others that have moved over to Poland perhaps also from Australia...
I speak very good Russian (being also Russian background) and basic Polish but am looking to improve my Polish further prior to my move.

I look forward to connecting with others who have useful info to share. Thanks :)

Hi Annette,

I guess best option would be trying to enter to any corporation: they offer decent salaries and benefits. Also, teaching english in any school around might be an option but I feel salaries there aren't that good.
I am not sure about regulation on linking other website but I guess you're familiar with LinkedIn and its polish version Goldenline. Just google them ;)

Wish all the best!

Thanks for your reply.
I've made some loose contact with a language school and feel they could have some work for me but I think I'd need more than perhaps they might be offering..
I feel like I'll have to research options but only once I'm in Poland I believe it'll all fall in to place.
I wasn't aware of a Polish linkedin site, so I'll look it up.

Annette :)

Hello Annette,

great that you are thinking about moving to Poland :).
When it comes to the employment, I'd like to recommend you a Swedish company Teknosell. I've been working at Teknosell for a year now and I see it as a great place to work for foreigners in Poland. At Teknosell we are delivering coaching programs in more than 25 languages. Among others we are running our training program in Australia and hire native speakers of Australian English, here in Poland.
If you are interested in work as a Training/ Coaching Program Specialist, do not hesitate to contact me: klaudia.dziki[at] I'd be happy to share with you more details.
