Any Dads in Kuwait on visit visas?

i live and work in Kuwait. My husband is studying (full -time distance learning course) and uses visit visas to stay with me in Kuwait. Leaving every 90 days has suited him so far as he returns to our home country for exams etc.

Now we are expecting our first child! We plan to have the child in Kuwait because I will still be under contract to work...Amongst the joy and excitement, we are worried about registering the birth as Expats in this situation. The requirements are that the hospital documents, both parents' passports, attested marriage certificate AND both parents' civil IDs are submitted. Of course, my husband doesn't have one as he visits me on a visit visa.

Is this going to be a headache?! Any advice or previous, similar stories would be much appreciated. Thank you!
