You can book a ticket and apply online visa with your passport details. Or if you have some friends here, they can send your visa or visa upon arrival letter or you can apply through the Vietnam embassy in your country.

Vietnam has different rules for each nationality, please have a look at http://www.vietnameseprivatetours.com/v … quirements and get your answer.

for my knowledge, getting a 1 month tourist visa wont be much hassle.

Vietnam Embassy...no problem...even online you can get answers.
one month...or more...with multiple entries is the way to go if you stay over one month and want to come back on the same visa.
