Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in Florence?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Florence?

Hi Christine,

I gave birth here in Florence last September and I was really impressed with the public health care system! I also had a private gynaecologist who was wonderful. I gave birth at 'Torregalli' San Giovanni di Dio, and would not hesitate in returning there. It all depends on what you are wanting. For a drug free natural birth, La Margherita at Careggi is your best choice. They even have a birthing pool. I was set on having an epidural so this choice was out for me.
