Especially this month, we will have 2 screening instead of one! Our monthly cine-club will be doubled on the occasion of the Wallonia-Brussels' Federation Feast, allowing us to present the wonderful:
Boli Bana, a 52 minutes documentary film directed by Simon Gillard, OV Fulfulde French subtitles.
Synopsis: At night, the young boy Ama and his companions travel through the bush of Boli Bana. A herd of huge and at the same time benevolent cattle accompanies them. By day, the young girl Aissita is the center of attention of Boli Bana village. A witch has arrived for a ritual: For Assista this is the beginning of adulthood. It is a nomadic and mystic world that comes into being through the eyes of these children. A Fulani childhood in Burkina Faso.
A conversation with the director will follow the screening.
