Andalucia Tour

I am going to Andalucia in October, I fly into Seville and return from Malaga on a 17 day holiday

I want to see obviously Seville, but also want to visit Cordoba Granada and the Andalucian white villages inbetween, ie Ronda, Mijas etc

What is the best way to achieve this in the time I have.

Is the RENFE trains the best way as I do not want to hire a car
Any ideas/plans to help me?

Hi and welcome on board nookmell!

I hope you will obtain some good recommendations soon ;)

I would definately recommend hiring a car, driving is not a problem unless in the cities.

Getting to Mijas and Ronda isnŽt possible by train, there are buses but so much time is lost waiting for buses.

Maybe you could visit the cities by train and then rent a car for the odd day to go to the smaller more rural towns.

Both Ronda and Mijas are very nice, also very touristy. Have a look at Jaén, Baeza and Ubeda too for a more out of the way, real Spanish experience.
