I am in the market for a new bedroom set. I love the bed styles at Ikea and I was about to go for it when I got scared after hearing some stories of mattresses falling through the slats on Ikea beds. o.O Wouldn't want that happening in the middle of the night!
I looked around at Home Center and realized they also have the same slat system. Does anyone have any experience with "good" sturdy beds and if Ikea beds are really that bad? Where is a good place (other than those mentioned) to buy bedroom furniture at in the Khobar area? (decent prices please!)

Theres a Serta store near sports city on khbr/dmm highway. i couldnt believe they had an actual Serta store out here!!

I've just got a new bed from Home Centre. It is massive and very well built. I wouldn't be worrying about falling through it!
