I'm in a difficult situation. I applied with a company (Lets call A) and got EP rejected 2 times due to salary being not enough. The salary requirement for financial sector was not there in SAT those times. Then I got an offer from an agent for another bank and this time, the EP got approved. After 1 month of approval, the agent suddenly wanted me to come earlier than the agreed upon date, and they withdrew the IPA.

@shankarshankar how can u get EP on less than 4K salary? must be S pass..

New here. Just sharing my situation.

Been working in Sg coming 11 years now. Was on EP for my initial year downgraded to S-Pass until now. Never changed employer, which is a small local private IT company.

HR applied for S-Pass renewal last May 2 which was denied after two weeks due to no quota. Company head count is 5 locals/PR and I'm the only foreigner.

HR applied for E-Pass yesterday and given a long pending bump in salary and due to my role change. Reading through here I am now very worried. Will update again of any status.

@rcloudloud Excellent news !! Told you that no news is also good news :-) Also, trust MoM. They have a process so just need to be patient. I am waiting for mine. :-)

@EP May 2022 Thanks for this detailed writeup, it really helps when you are also on the same boat and gives some confidence.  MY EP was applied on 6th May and 2 weeks later they had asked for some documentation related to fair hiring and also my updated profile.  Last week further documents were asked (not sure what are those) but still the online update is showing PENDING and i am waiting patiently holding on your words.  its not over until it is really over !!

@sureshjy  each application is different. The higher the compensation, the faster ur application.
