Hello from Maryland,

We are retiring in about two years and considering relocation to Belize. We've visited Placencia and really enjoyed all the area has to offer. We want to be in the southern portion of the country with good access to the beach. Beach front would be ideal but may be out of our budget.

I'm starting due diligence now on available lots, builders, etc. I'm open to reviewing "unfinished projects" as well.... I truly welcome any referrals from others that have worn this path. Thank you in advance!

Hello fellow Marylander and thank you for reaching out! What can you share regarding your move and acclamation to your new home? Did you buy, build it rent? Did you ship "things" from MD; if yes - inland freight or container? What made you choose the Silttee River area?
