meds in russia

hi if i move to russia how do prescriptions work there and are blood pressure meds similar there im from uk  am on calcium channel blockers anyone any experience with them  in russia

I can't speak to any specific medication, but generally Russia is quite a bit more restrictive than western countries about certain medications - particularly anything that is considered potentially addictive. Some medications like many antibiotics can be purchased over the counter. You definitely want to get this sorted out before you go. One option would be to contact your embassy in Russia; they can usually give you more specific information.

Hello, I am from USA and take 3 differant blood presure meds. As I have been running low on serveral ones  my Russian wife has been able to find them at local pharmacies without a precription
