Hi! I have just applied as a nurse in Bahrain. I was informed by my employer that I have to wait for the LMRA NOC letter so that they can process my visa. May I know how many days it takes to have the letter? And who will it be sent to?

Thanks!

Neemish

Hi,

I have never heard something called an LMRA NOC Letter in Bahrain in my entire carrer. As I understand you have applied for a Nurse. Your designations will be any of the below.

NURSE(GENERAL)
PRACTICAL NURSE
TECHNICAL NURSE
SPECIALISED NURSE
SPECIALISED NURSE (PSYCHIATRIC)
SPECIALISED NURSE (OBSTETRIC)
Staff Nurse

or any other which requires NHRA's Approval. You need a certificate from NHRA to apply for these designations.

These kinds of licenses are issued by NHRA after submitting the offer letter and Dataflow which verifies your education and experience. If you do not have the NHRA License maybe the company have just applied for the NHRA License and you will need to wait for it. If you already have a license they might be in the process of transferring it to their company name.

I have never heard an LMRA NOC Letter. Would like to see the how it looks like.

Hi!

Yes I've applied for the position of General Nurse. I actually had a supposed-previous employer who made the NHRA account for me but didn't pursue my employment with them. When I had opened my account, I was asked to upload a health fitness certificate and a CPR number. I do have a health fitness certificate from a GAMCA Accredited clinic here in the Philippines but not the CPR number since I am not in Bahrain yet. I got a new offer letter from a different facility and emailed NHRA regarding this, that I wish to have my license registered in a different facility and they asked me to upload my new offer letter. I had uploaded it together with the health fitness certificate but I was told that it had to be done in Bahrain. So I emailed them again that I wasn't in Bahrain yet, that I had to upload it (the health fitness certificate) in order for me to obtain a work permit email(?) From LMRA/NHRA. I was also told by my employer to request for an LMRA NOC letter to be addressed to them and NHRA responded and said that they will be sending it soon. I would just like to know if you have an idea on how many days it takes to obtain an email (work permit/LMRA NOC letter) from NHRA or LMRA?

Sorry, I'm also a tiny bit confused. But thank you so much for the response! ☺️
